Abstract: This project has conducted small boat surveys to monitor abundance of marine birds in Prince William Sound during March 1990, 1991, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1998, and 2000 and July 1989, 1990, 1991, 1993, 1996, 1998, and 2000. This data will be used to examine trends by determining whether populations in the oiled zone changed at the same rate as those in the unoiled zone. Overall population trends for Prince William Sound from 1989-2000 will also be examined. An annual report and a publication will be prepared.
