This FY22-31 Invitation continues to address elements of the Council’s long-term research and monitoring, herring research and monitoring, and data management work under the umbrella of a single long-term research and monitoring program. In addition, this Invitation includes two new Focus Areas identified by the Council: the development of mariculture (excluding finfish farming) and education and outreach.

In November 1994, the Council adopted an official list of resources and services injured by the Spill as part of its Restoration Plan. The IRS has been updated six times and the most recent is from November 2014.
