Abstract: This project would investigate what may be causing the failure of herring runs in PWS by investigating the dynamics of larval and juvenile herring. The proposed project, together with other investigations being undertaken as part of the SEA program, would attempt to describe the relative importance of zooplankton abundance, oceanic conditions, habitat requirements, and density dependent predation in determining large fluctuations in herring abundance.Proposal: Not Available
