Abstract: The EVOS directed attention to the Prince William Sound (PWS), and, as a result, land owners and managers have experienced an increased demand for recreational opportunities. PWS is comprised of federal, state and private land, therefore a variety of land management plans have been adopted. The recreational management of the PWS area has caused conflict between different interest and user groups. This project will address the conflict between PWS user groups, identify possible recreational development and opportunities with input from the user groups and agencies, and develop management guidelines and projects for future implementation. In addition, this project will develop a complete listing of all possible special designations and recommendations for the most acceptable designation(s).Proposal: Not Available
