Abstract: Project would continue the collection of genetic stock information to identify Kenai River stocks in mixed stock Cook Inlet fisheries and to monitor harvest of various stocks while season is in progress. This project is designed to allow fisheries managers to distinguish within Kenai River stocks, as well as among Kenai, Kasilof and Susitna River stocks. This effort would allow fishery managers to target the fisheries most efficiently while protecting Kenai stocks.
