Abstract: This project is focused on restoration or replacement of EVOS damaged pink and chum salmon stocks and their spawning habitats. Sites within the EVOS impact area that are suitable for cost effective instream habitat and stock restoration projects will be identified. Numerous study sites that were identified from previous reports, aerial photographs, aerial surveys, ground surveys, and a literature review have been evaluated. Specific potential fish pass sites, spawning channel sites and fry rearing sites have been selected in Prince William Sound and the Lower Cook Inlet and Kodiak Island. Some additional field work to complete studies of these selected sites will be required. After all the necessary data has been collected, a weighted decision matrix will be developed and used to establish priority among the potential project sites. Engineering designs will be developed for projects that receive a high ranking in the decision matrix.Proposal: Not Available
