Abstract: This project will provide essential long-term baseline measurements of hydrocarbon levels and sources at program sites within areas of the Prince William Sound, Kenai Peninsula, Kodiak, and Gulf of Alaska. The objective is to provide a program for the collection of baseline data in mussel tissue and subtidal sediments that can be used to determine impacts of oil sources on the ecosystem. This program will provide an improved link to recovery status and greater efficiency in hydrocarbon sampling and analysis that has been ongoing since 1993 under the auspices of the Prince William Sound Regional Citizens' Advisory Council.Proposal: View (61 KB)
