Abstract: The Prince William Sound herring fishery declined catastrophically in 1992. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game recovery effort includes incorporating knowledge of genetically-derived population structure into harvest management. This continuing project is delineating the structure of Prince William Sound population(s) and related North Pacific populations using both nuclear and mitochondrial DNA analyses. Tests for temporal and spatial diversity within years and temporal stability across years will be conducted.Proposal: Not Available
