Abstract: This project is determining the relation between resident and anadromous forms of Dolly Varden and cutthroat trout within the same watershed and between watersheds in Prince William Sound. In FY 99, analysis will continue of genetic, meristic, and life-history features of each group, which were sampled in FY 96 and FY 97. This project received closeout funds in FY 98; this one-year extension is requested because it has taken longer to complete the genetic analysis than originally thought. Results from this study will allow development of a long-term, comprehensive and ecologically sound restoration strategy for these fish.Proposal: Not Available
