Abstract: This project will collect common murre population data at the Chiswell Islands nesting colonies, which have not been censused since 1992. Data will be statistically compared with counts made at these colonies during the 1989-1991 common murre damage assessment studies and counts obtained during the 1992 common murre restoration monitoring project. Results of the analyses (e.g., differences among years, presence/absence of trends) will be used in combination with 1989-1997 Barren Islands information to evaluate and refine the overall recovery status of the common murre.Proposal: Not Available
