Abstract: This project would investigate the physical oceanographic structure of PWS including the space/time variability of atmospheric and oceanic processes within PWS, investigate relationships between atmospheric forcing (wind, storms, long term temperature changes) and wind and buoyancy-driven currents; determine how these relationships act to retain/disperse food resources for ecologically important species within PWS; and investigate large and fine scale oceanographic structures and major climatic cycles and events.Proposal: Not Available
