Abstract: The general purpose of this project is to provide user friendly interpretive services to make the existing Exxon Valdez Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) database available to principal investigators, resource managers, and the public following the 1989 EVOS. The database presently contains information from thousands of samples, including sample collection information, hydrocarbon analyses information, bile and HPLC analyses, and data in support of the NRDA and restoration projects. This project will provide for the continued use and access of NRDA hydrocarbon data, expansion of the hydrocarbon database, interpretation of the hydrocarbon analyses, and continued quality control of sample storage and hydrocarbon analyses. New data will be integrated into the Exxon Valdez NRDA hydrocarbon database, ensuring that hydrocarbon data resulting from EVOS restoration efforts are directly comparable with the existing data. Procedures developed during the NRDA effort will be followed. Incoming samples will be inventoried and collection information entered into the Exxon Valdez NRDA database located at the Auke Bay Laboratory in Juneau, AK. Hydrocarbon data will be evaluated using methods specifically developed for the Exxon Valdez NRDA hydrocarbon data.Proposal: Not Available
