Abstract: This project would continue harlequin duck recovery monitoring in order to document abundance, distribution and age-sex structure of the pre-nesting population in PWS through May/June breeding bird surveys; document annual harlequin production and post-breeding abundance through brood and molting surveys; classify streams and shoreline habitats in western PWS to correlate habitat parameters with eastern PWS; and (pending 1993 results of contaminant analysis) document continued exposure of sea ducks to oil and physiological links to reproductive impairment through blood and tissue sampling.Proposal: Not Available
