Abstract: This project will analyze five years of past data from Cook Inlet Keeper's Citizens' Environmental Monitoring Program, the first consistent, credible, and coordinated community-based water quality monitoring program in Alaska. Keeper's stream ecologist will determine if sampling frequency, methods, parameters, and site selection are effective at meeting the monitoring objectives of detecting significant changes in water quality over time. The results will assist Cook Inlet Partners (Kenai Watershed Forum, Anchorage Waterways Council, Wasilla Soil and Water Conservation District) in refining their community monitoring efforts and may lead to future community-based monitoring programs.Proposal: View (97 KB)
