Abstract: This project will increase community involvement in the restoration process. The Spill Area Wide Community Involvement Coordinator's work will continue through a contract with the Chugach Regional Resources Commission (CRRC). Through direct communication with a network of local facilitators, the Spill Area Wide Community Involvement Coordinator will continue to actively involve local residents in the restoration program (local facilitators are located in Tatitlek, Chenega Bay, Port Graham, Nanwalek, Cordova, Seward, Seldovia, Valdez, Kodiak, and the Alaska Peninsula). The project will start the process of integrating the duties of the Community Facilitator into the Tribal Natural Resource programs in five pilot project communities. This process will allow for possible EVOSTC participation in a regional stewardship program.Proposal: Not Available
