Abstract: This project would provide information describing the +geographical extent of spruce bark beetle infestation within the range of habitats previously demonstrated to be important to spill injured species. The project would determine the role of spruce forest as habitat for each of the injured species, evaluate whether the current or projected beetle infestation is impacting injured species habitats, identify specific critical habitats for each spill-injured species and evaluate the impacts of these critical habitats resulting from spruce bark beetle infestations.
