Abstract: This project will investigate the potential for opening up additional spawning and rearing habitat for salmon by installing a fish pass on a six-foot barrier falls located near the upper tide zone on Anderson Creek. Anderson Creek is located in Crab Bay on Evans Island, near the village of Chenega Bay. Target species are pink, coho, and chum salmon. In 1996 the stream will be surveyed and evaluated for enhancement and an Environmental Assessment will be completed. In 1997 the fish pass will be installed.
